At Marietta High School, Megan McAuley was an athlete for all seasons. And with each passing season, her accomplishments continued to grow. It was rich athletic career which ultimately took her talents to the collegiate level.

When all was said and done at Marietta High, McAuley graduated with 14 varsity letters – four in basketball, four in track and field and three in soccer. 

In basketball season of 2004-05, she hit the 1,000-point mark for her career. She became just the fourth female in school history to accomplish the feat and did so despite missing the last 10 games with a torn ACL. She won a bevy of honors during that senior season, including All-Ohio Division I Special Honorable Mention, First Team All-District and Southeastern Ohio Athletic League Player of the Year. 

Also, on the court for the Tigers, McAuley was a All-SEOAL First Team pick all four years. 

In the fall, she played soccer and ran cross country. On the course, she was a three-time regional qualifier and four-time All-Academic SEOAL pick. In soccer, McAuley earned All-Academic SEOAL and Division I All-District Honorable Mention. 

Despite missing two seasons due to injuries in track and field, she set two school records and qualified for the State Meet once. 

At the University of Cincinnati, McAuley earned four varsity letters in track and field. She was part of a 4×800 relay team that set a school record. As a relay member of the 4×400, she was qualified for the Big East Indoor Championships three times. She also qualified three times for the Outdoor Championships. She was a three-time All-Big East Academic All-Star.

Following college, she enjoyed success as a track and field coach at Ursuline Academy and as a cross-fit competitor.
