Mid-Ohio Valley Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026

Eligibility: The Mid-Ohio Valley Sports Hall of Fame encompasses the following counties: Wood, Wirt, Jackson, Pleasants and Ritchie in West Virginia and Washington and Noble in Ohio.

In order to be eligible for nomination into the Hall of Fame, an individual must be fully retired and must meet one of the following requirements:

1. Nominee must have been born in the inclusive counties.
2. Nominee must be a resident of the inclusive counties who has made a significant contribution to athletics at the city, county, state, national or international level, either directly or indirectly as an athlete, coach, official or administrator.
3. A nominee may be a non-resident of the inclusive counties who has made a contribution to athletics within the inclusive counties as an athlete, coach, official or administrator.
4. A nominee may have performed meritorious service for athletics in the inclusive counties.
5. A nominee must be of good moral character.

Special Consideration (Lifetime Achievement). Any person still active with 25+ years of experience is considered eligible for nomination to the MOVSHoF in addition to the above criteria.

Additional Information:

1. Nominator must assist the secretary when requested with the applicant/nominee’s biography and with the meeting of various timelines.

3. Nominations will be accepted through February 28, 2026.
4. The top ten vote recipients will compose the Class of 2026 as selected by the Hall of Fame Committee Members.
5. Elected Inductees will be announced by April 30, 2026.
6. The induction ceremony will be on July 25, 2026.
7. Completed nominations are to be received by the following form or by mail by Don Ullmann, Box 11, Belle Valley OH 43717 no later than February 28. 2026.
